Last night I had the pleasure of giving a talk on the Pantanal, Brazil at the downtown library. The talk was surprisingly well attended. We saw a bunch of people tht we hadn’t seen in a long time.

Giant anteater with young, a life mammal that I had never seen before.

One of the seven jaguars that we saw. Before Brazil I had only heard one in the wild back in the early 1990s at Palenque, Mexico.
