Last night we had a beautiful sunset. This is one of the great joys of having an upper deck that faces west. White flowers seem to be dominating currently. Accidental nature walk in Ann Arbor
This morning as we were walking to meet a friend for breakfast. we managed to find a lot of flowering plants and other stuff. Evergreen bagworm cocoons in some evergreen shrubs. A flowering Norway maple. A flowering Bartlett’s pear. Flowering serviceberry. Flowering purple dead nettle, the final flower of the morning. More tomorrow…
Day-31: Carnivorous plant bog
Heading north from Dauphin Island Susan found a nice preserve for us to visit. I was all in especially after hearing it had a lot of different pitcher plants. As it turns out it has 10 species of carnivorous plants!
