Brazil – Flowers, Ferns and Trees

Brazilian jacaranda – a tree that we saw almost daily. Brilliant lamium – a pretty little plant that was abundant along the roads in and near Ubatuba. One of the Heliconia. Traveling in the south – A day at the Atlantic shore

We spent the day traveling on the beach at New Smyrna Beach and at the Canaveral National Seashore. we managed to fins a great variety of plants and animals, including this armadillo. Yesterday we spent the morning at Turtle Mound and Castle Windy. Birds were OK, but plants and insects were great. We got to see Surf and Black Scoters which are always a treat for me.
