Migration got going yesterday

With constant mild to moderate south-east winds yesterday raptor migration really kicked into high gear. I ad close to 1500 Sharp-shinned Hawks, and several hundred other raptors. Migration at Whitefish Point

This adult Golden Eagle made two passes towards the point this morning. It never got very high. There was also at least one young Bald Eagle. The number of Sharp-shinned Hawks increased today.
