Well, another Christopher Moore book arrived and has been read. And as withh all of his books it was entertaining and funny (sometimes). Moore has the ability to interweave history and fiction successfully. In this book there are the many historical figures such as Gustav Klimt, Egon Schiele, Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung among othersContinue reading “Anima Rising”

Piping Plovers at Whitefish Point, Michigan
This year there was another successful Piping Plover nest at Whitefish Point. The point itself has been expanding after an early winter storm took out the point in the recent past. I think that this is a molting female plover, she still has some black feathers. This bird was not very far from the hatchingsContinue reading “Piping Plovers at Whitefish Point, Michigan”

Red-breasted Nuthatches as with chickadees areContinue reading “Bird drawings”
