I haven’t posted any of my pen drawings for quite awhile. So, here are a few from last year.
Sunrise on the Halifax River in Florida. We were staying with our friends Patsy and Ken and I would get up quite early and sit on the porch drinking coffee watching the sun come up and counting birds leaving roosts. The birds were dominated by Fish Crows and White Ibises.
This drawing is from a photo I took. We were visiting Florida Caverns in the north-western part of the Florida panhandle.
Moonwort from a photo that I took at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore on Lake Superior in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
Surf Scoter, perhaps my favorite scoter.
Okapi, a relative of giraffes. There are quite a few in zoos in North America and Europe.
