Susan has been working on the habitat restoration site at the parking lot of Whitefish Point for over three years. A lot of time and effort has gone into moving plants and lichens as well as driftwood and small logs. Recently, somebody removed, as in took one of the nicest pieces of driftwood that was put there.

Photos of the same spot. The left one was in May and right one waas at the end of August. The piece of driftwood that’s gone missing is to the left of the long log just past the large patch of lichens. The area is clearly marked so whoever took it in July clearly knew what they were doing. When people do things like this it really makes me mad.
