A few days ago we headed north to Whitefish Point. For me it was escaping the implications of the government shutdown, and some political situations.

It’s difficult to ignore the relationship between the President and Epstein. In the future, hopefully the near future the President will be implicated with Epstein.

But for now I will seek the quiet beauty of Whitefish Point. This was our first sunet here.

There’s a new bench outside of what was the Owl’s Roost, the building that Michigan Audubon owns. Mike Fitzpatrick was a good long time friend. And I, for one am glad that another friend had this bench placed here.

This morning we had our first fire of the fall. The cabin is toasty and this afternoon we’ll head out to help move the waterfowl shack for the winter.
More on that later…
A true paradise to retreat to! Enjoy.
