A busy three weeks

We’ve been on the move more or less since late August, We spent a week at Whitefish Point, then went to visit Martin and Catherine in Douglas and give a talk on the Yukon to the Holland Audubon Society. After a few days in Ann Arbor we had to get back to Whitefish Point since we had a load of wood to stack before it got wet.

Breakfast at Village Kitchen in Ann Arbor before heading north.

We started moving wood. First we emptied the wood shed into the garage. That’s what we’ll be burning this fall and early winter. Still have a lot to split for kindling.

After emptying the wood shed we started refilling it with new dry wood. We had too much for the shed so the rest was stacked next to the shed and covered with tarps.

Non onto the insanity for the past week.

I thought that the worst part of the current fascist administration was RFK Jr. and his destroying the CDC and vaccines in the US. But no –

The MAGA-fascists destruction of media – when will it stop?

In a form of escapism I have been rewatching Westworld, a dystopian view of reality and the future.

“These violent delights meet violent ends.” One of the best quotes from the series regarding the overthrow of the controlling fascist overlords.

More later…

  1. The current federal administration is psychopathic–that means it has crossed over the line of truth and reality into feeble lies and fake assertions. No way can it continue! This regime will not last, and our country’s balance will restore itself to where IT SHOULD BE–ultimatetly with equality, fairness and justice for all of us, AMEN DEI.
