We walked down to Art Fair, but first stopped at Kerrytown.

Ant artist who did drawings of stadiums.

Here’s his drawing of Tiger stadium.

My favorite of the day. A photograpger who did underwater photography.

Here’s the artist.

The logo for this year.

Starting out early meant not everybody was opened yet, but there were no crowds either.

As the morning went on the crowds increased.

A skeletal human walking his skeletal T-rex.

My friend and former student Megan at her booth.

Finally it was time for lunch, so we went to the Jagged Ford. We’ve had breakfast there a number of times, but never lunch. It was comfortable and lunch was nice.
After walking around six miles we decided to take the bus home, still not believing that there were no storms or oppressive heat during the three days of Art Fair. Well, it’s still Saturday, but the forecast looks good for the day.
More later…
Oh thank you for featuring the art fair. I am in upstate NY these 15 years so haven’t been to the art fair for so long! It was so nice to see it’s still the same. Unbelievable weather. I loved the underwater photos, beautiful. Hope your garden is good; all of my herbs except sage have all dried up in the extreme heat for last 2 weeks. Thank you, Mary Ann Hitt

Mary Ann:
Art Fair, as always was fun. The garden is thriving as we are getting rain at least once a week. Herbs are still doing well.
Best,
Michael
