Ann Arbor and Douglas

owntown Ann Arbor is always fun anytime of the year. The various murals are always changing or being updated. This one in on the back of the Art Center.

This was in the window of a shop. Oh how has coffee affected me over the years?

Speaking of coffee and hot drinks is the time of year when the Brush Monkeys start decorating windows throughout town. Here I’m staying with the coffee/hot drink theme.

Somehow a snowman with a UM hat and ringing a bell seemed appropriate for the New Pretzel Bell.

The duck covered with snow and the ducklings were a bit off for this time of year, but nice anyway.

On Monday we headed off to Douglas, Michigan. I’ll be giving a talk on Oaxaca, Mexico in Holland on Tuesday. We had dinner at Everyday People Cafe, which we would highly recommend if you’re in the area.

The view of the cafe when we were done with dinner and walking home.

More later…
