One corner of downtown Ann Arbor is a real throwback to the 1970s when I moved here.

Kosmo’s used to be in Kerrytown, close to the Farmer’s Market. This is Susan’s favorite place to get be-bim-bop for breakfast.

Krazy Jim’s Blimpy Burger used to be around the intersection of Division and Packard. I haven’t eaten at the new site, but did at the old one.

And finally the Fleetwood Diner, which has always been on this corner. Another place we haven’t eaten at for years. A great breakfast spot.

But, nostalgia aside I am already missing the southern warblers. We won’t see another Northern Parula (like the window painting at Downtown Home & Garden) until mid-May. Until then I’ll have to settle for northern birds.
Until next time…
