Canaveral National Seashore

Yesterday we spent the morning at Turtle Mound and Eldora two delightful places in the Canaveral National Seashore that are great for seeing plants and butterflies. Traveling in the south – A day at the Atlantic shore

We spent the day traveling on the beach at New Smyrna Beach and at the Canaveral National Seashore. we managed to fins a great variety of plants and animals, including this armadillo. Yesterday we spent the morning at Turtle Mound and Castle Windy. Birds were OK, but plants and insects were great. We got to see Surf and Black Scoters which are always a treat for me.
