Time for an insect talk

The other night we went to the Matthaei Botanical Gardens for a talk on endangered and imperiled insects in Michigan. It turns out that the speaker, while being an entomologist was primarily studying Lepidoptera, butterflies and moths. It was fun seeing friends and meeting other people that were interested in plant-insect interactions.

Well, last night the Milwaukee Brewers won the World Series. That pleased a lot of our friends, and Susan’s family who all have Wisconsin ties.

For me it’s now hockey season, although we also watch the Lions and Wolverines. It’ll be interesting watching the Detroit-Chicago game tonight.

Frankly, I don’t care how our goals get it as long as they’re legal.

More later…
