An interesting week

With the situation with the US/Israeli invasion of Iran, to tariffs and the disaster of the FIFA World Cup match in the US it’s clear how the US is affecting Americans and the World.

Since I can’t upload images any longer I guess I’ll just write.

The invasion of Iran has been embarrassing and has lowered the status of the US even lower than it was previously. The President’s comments of NATO nations not supporting the US of aiding us was an ignorant comment. The US was not being attacked, it was the agressor.

Prices in the US have risen due to tariffs, and they will most likely stay high into the distant future. The cost of groceries has risen, the rose higher and higher. The same has occurred with the cost of gas, although that’s due to the invasion of Iran. I’m old enough to say that prices will never go down to what they were in 2024 when we had a reasonable government.

Now the World Cup match between the USA and Belgium. The USA went from being a loved underdog to a hated loser – and you can’t blame the world for thinking that way.

That’s what it was like being an American for the last week and what the future looks like.

More later…

  1. Yes and I can’t help but think the timing was intended to trash America’s celebration and examination of the last 250 years, to annihilate forever our thinking about our country’s history, the good and the bad and the ugly. This is a time to regard ourselves solemnly and closely in an ongoing manner, not to sweep 250 years under the rug with these harmful and malignant diversions. This is the message I get from this administration. It is deplorable, coming from the top. But that way of thinking will not stand, not if we can help it.
