It’s hard to believe that it’s now 2026. This grand journey started three-quarters of a century ago for me at least. And what a great and wild ride it’s been getting here. So, I’m starting the year with humor, walking and games. Here we go –
Starting the year with Snoopy & Woodstock celebrating the invention of the doggie bag seems like a great place to start.
The Kingdom of ID celebrating the New Year with fireworks provided by the Wizard!
9 Chickweed Lane – celebrating the start of the year with some of the main characters leaving the past and entering the present. Three generations of women, The grandmother, mother and twin grand-daughters. Typically I do not post comics from 9 Chickweed Lane because Susan considers them to be to sexual in nature, which I must admit are occasionally – but to start the year I said “why not!.”
Our New Year’s Eve started overcast, foggy and with some frost since it was 31F. But by early afternoon it was 45F and sunny.
We found a yard filled with gnomes and mushrooms which brightened an already sunny day.
The late afternoon and evening was filled with food and games.
First was a rousing game of Earth. Alexis won and I managed to come in last. Simon was tallying up the scores here.
Sagrada was the last game of the year. As Susan and I were heading to bed at 10 pm local time which was 1 am EST.
