Some humor to survive the cold

The temperature last night dipped down to -4F – outside. Fortunately the furnace company got to the cabin and solved our problem. Even better was that the guy had the part needed on his truck. Things like that you can never be sure of in the U.P., but it usually works out since they know how miserable it is when furnaces break down. ast night was the first time in three days lat we let the fire die down in the wood stove so that we could clean the ashes.

Right now it’s overcast with light snow and 12F.

The view from our bedroom once the sun was up. It’s almost time to go for a walk. Now – humor for a cold day.

For all the David Lynch fans out there.

Staying on a quasi-religeous theme – Pearls before swine, a favorite cartoon of mine. This one is quite funny (in my opinion). And finally to the dark side –

And that wraps it up for today.

More later…
