What a difference between sunrise and sunset. As the day progressed, the wind picked up and it became cooler. The next couple of days are looking windy and cooler.

Susan spent the late morning and early afternoon working on the habitat restoration site.

Here’s Susan in her Fish & Wildlife Volunteer jacket and hat.

In the evening, or when the weather is back I am likely to be reading. I just finished “A gentleman in Moscow.” What a delightful story. I had seen ads for the TV series, and that looked interesting. When I found a free copy of the book I decided to take it and start reading. Well, one of the best freebies I have ever had.
The story covers the life of a Russian count from 1922-1954. There are a lot of flashbacks to pre-revolutionary Russia. The story essentially covers the count’s being restricted to staying in a small room at the Metropol hotel. If he ever leaves the hotel he will be shot.
On the surface this might not sound very interesting, but there are so many other people involved and his adapting to life under Communist rule that it is interesting.
I won’t spoil the book by telling the most important aspects allowing readers to go out enjoy it for themselves.
More later…
They have that book at the Library; I ordered it.
As for the weather, I took in my hammock and am doing the storm windows because it’s getting cold down here also.
