Fall Colors, 2024

We always leave our place at Whitefish Point, Michigan with mixed feelings. AT least on our drive home yesterday we had some nice views of the changing colors that are always a highlight of the fall. Right now the maples are starting to turn red, the aspens are going to yellow and some of the tamaracks are started to go light green.

It’s always a challenge finding the perfect spot with maximal colors. Here there are aspens, maples, pines, spruce and a variety of understory trees,

Another similar view.

The colors took away some of the the sting of heading south. Who knows what tomorrow will bring.

More later…
