It’s always sad when we head south from Whitefish Point, but we have a house to take care of in Ann Arbor. It was nice seeing Troy, Dan and Alison for a while before leaving.
On the way home we stopped at King’s in Moran to get salmon, lake trout and pasties for three meals back in Ann Arbor.
But when we travel we are always aware of the situation with Covid (SARS-CoV-2)
Currently the FLiRT variants (KP1.1 and KP2) of Covid are becoming the most dominant forms of the virus. Fortunately, the current vaccines seem to be adequate in dealing with them.
Right now Michigan seems to be seeing declining rates. Looking at the map I am pleased that we are not currently in Florida.
