What a difference from yesterday to today. The left photo was yesterday at 8am. The right photo was this morning at 8am. For the last two days the wind has been from 15-20 mph. But an even bigger difference today is that the wind is from the NE. With my neurological issues I cannot be out in the wind for very long before I get very dizzy and become very susceptible to startle evens and possibly seizures. So, I ended up spending the day at the cabin working of things, writing and reading.

I found this graphic on peppers. I have Caroline reapers, ghost peppers and habaneros that I got from Jacob dried and ready for making chili powders. I also have habaneros, jalapeños, chile de arbol and cayenne fresh from the garden. I will be pickling some and drying others.
Obviously I am envisioning sone spicy chili powder in the future.

Since I was in Mexico this year Spanish is an important language to understand. This is a graphic that helps understand how long Spanish has been spoken in parts of the U.S. The reality is that it has been spoken in Florida since the late 1500s. Regardless, as a North American (which includes Mexico) you should at least try to understand Spanish. That said, my Spanish has diminished since I was slightly fluent back in the early 1990s.
