A nice day to walk to breakfast

Since this morning was relatively warm and sunny we decided to walk to Village Kitchen for breakfast, then to Aldi to shop for a few things. I love this mural at Village Kitchen. The view of downtown Ann Arbor shows what it looked like some 25 years ago. So many of the shops that were there are now gone.

The 2 mile walk to breakfast and shop allowed us to walk in a neighborhood that we don’t often pass through. As a result we got to visit this fairy tree. The owner even put from the front door to under a nearby bush.

The shed next to the stump even has a nice bird-feeder.

Susan got a late Christmas present from Steve and Chellie. It’s a blue Christmas tree with shells needing stringing. The mushrooms she got from me.
