Midnight Madness in Ann Arbor

Steve, Chellie, Susan and I went downtown for dinner at Amadeus then walking around downtown listening to music, watch dancing, and see the huge hoard of people.

Literati on and Amadeus.

Lights everywhere, and lots of people. I can’t remember the last time I saw so many people in one place. We avoided going into any of the stores since they were so crowded with people.

A science fiction character (from Star Trek) and an owl swooping in for the kill.

A couple of statues doing yoga.

Little brass Hindu gods and goddesses.

A larger Hindu goddess.

And finally an owl painted on a window, the same one that was there years ago.

More tomorrow…

  1. I’m overjoyed there were that many people downtown. Mom and pop stores doing well while the Mall is having trouble. Seems right to me. Did you go see the market in the Square on Fifth the other night?
