They say it’s your birthday

Here’s Susan and I in Camarillo, California last month. Hard to believe that she was a year younger then, as we joke about birthdays.

Today we had a relaxing day that started with walking to breakfast at our favorite place for breakfast – Village Kitchen. What made it even better today was that our favorite waitress was there already knowing what we were probably getting, right down to starting with caffeinated coffee then switching to decaf.

Another aspect about Village Kitchen is that it is a strong supported of the University of Michigan football program and players. Blake Corum is a regular there and even Jim Harbaugh sometimes. That’s the beauty of the small town atmosphere of little local establishments.

We sat in the booth next to a photo of Harbaugh and Bo Schembeckler.

Now on to a relaxing evening anticipating what tomorrow will bring.
