Inktober – group three

Wow, 18 inches of snow south-west of Marquette, but almost none at Whitefish Point. It was an interesting fall snowstorm. Now, on to some drawings.

The Inktober prompt for October 8th was match. So I did a “match” of two people’s hearts.

October 9th prompt was “nest.” Here’s a quick sketch of a Palm Warbler nest.

October 10th prompt was “crabby.” So I did a rather stylized crab.

October 11th prompt was “eagle.” The eagle I chose was my favorite eagle – a Harpy Eagle.

October 12 prompt was “forget.” I opted for less of a sketch and more of a reminder – “don’t forget,” since one of us needs a reminder to bring their phone, keys, and occasionally wallet.

More Inktober drawings on Friday or Saturday.

Until tomorrow…

  1. LOVE the crab! I was brought up by the ocean (Atlantic) as a child, in the summer. My father taught me to catch crabs with my hands, without getting pinched. In France, as a parent assistant during a school trip to the OTHER side of the Atlantic, I showed the kids how to spot where they were underwater by the bubbles, then I caught one for them. They were oohing and ah-ing. They loved it. It was fun.
