Peaches and cartoon birds

My friend Aimee got a delivery of peaches that she wanted to share, so I let her know that we would love to. This morning she brought them over and we sat and talked for two hours. It was wonderful catching up after not seeing each other for several years.

If you photograph birds you will understand this cartoon. I have had every one of these happen. Most of the time I just laugh and accept the results.

Fortunately, there are no ads in nature.

If we consider birds to be “avian dinosaurs,” then we should be called “mammalian reptiles.” Birds, lizards and mammals are all descent from early reptiles. But there’s more, Pearls Before Swine nailed it again,

This reminds me of the signs at the campground at Pt. Pelee National Park in Canada. The signs showed a dinosaur with a slash through it saying do not feed.

If you follow B.C. you understand the relationship between the tortoise and the bird.

More tomorrow…
