A couple of neighborhood insects

This little Pennsylvania ambush bug was on Queen-Anne’s-lace. Apparently it was trying to mimic the dark spot in the middle of the flower head. Leonard Preserve and a bad storm

On Thursday we went to the Leonard Preserve in SW Washtenaw County. We were looking for butterflies and interesting plants. We managed to find a few, but the trail map is not very useful.
