I’m sitting writing this at 2:30 am PST. It’s 48F outside, which is almost as high as it got yesterday 53F. Yesterday, even though it was our last, was packed full of stuff.

There were the ever-present cats – Leonard and Sheldon.
There there were the last walks in the neighborhood, the last games and a tirp to the Cascades Raptor Center.

We’ve taken the kids here before, but it’s always a fun thing to do while we’re here.

Susan and Oscar with a very noisy Snowy Owl. Oscar next to the “golden owl.”

A final lichen for the trip – Lobaria pulmonaria – Lungwort.
Later today we’ll be back in Ann Arbor.
What activity you all had during your trip, bravo! Oscar does not look happy that you are leaving. Safe travels! Welcome home!
