It was another day spending the morning at the Holiday Market. Did some shopping for the kids and had lunch.

There are elves everywhere.

This one pointed us to the food court. I’ll happily report that there was entertainment everywhere.

The food court had an amazing array of options – with meat, vegetarian and vegan. I had a delightful pork tamales plate. Camilla and Oscar had sweet crepes filled with fruits and topped with whipped cream and Susan had a plate of noodles, veggies and tofu.
When we got home I read two chapters of Another Fine Myth to Camilla and Oscar. Then Susan made everybodies favorite Christmas cookies – twist-twists,

And the day came to a conclusion with wrapping presents and Susan, Alexis and Camilla reading from Joyful Noise, poems for two voices.

Susan, Alexis and I started reading these “insect” based poems together about 30 years ago. And now for the past three years it’s been Susan, Alexis and Camilla. Another tradition continues.
More tomorrow…
Just the best! Fantastic food too.Eugene’s Holiday Market seems like an American version of Christmas markets in Europe. I will check out poems for two voice, thanks for sharing. Everyone in your family will remember them forever. Every Christmas I would buy a Christmas story book for my niece and nephew, and I would read each one to them, year after year at Christmas time, so much love.
