The day after Thanksgiving

I guess that Woodstock and his friends survived Thanksgiving. But why?

Ah, so Woodstock, and presumably his friends don’t go well with cranberries.

Had a quiet dinner yesterday late afternoon after the Lions football game. It was fairly traditional. We had turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, acorn squash, cornbread-chestnut stuffing and peas with rolls. It was delightful.

In the evening we watched the third episode of The American Revolution by Ken Burns. It’s interesting and worth watching.

Today we’ll be doing a little shopping mostly for fresh vegetables, not looking for Black Friday sales.

More later…

  1. Ah wonderful Snoopy and Woodstock, just delightful!! Also, can you share your recipe for turkey soup? I roasted a turkey and have the legs and wings and bones, but have never made a turkey soup. Would love to make one. Thank you, enjoy your shopping, all the fresh vegetables get used up at Thanksgiving, time for more!
