We spend a lot of time walking where ever we are – it’s our main form of daily exercise. In the course of our walks I am always looking for whatever there could be of interest. Often in winter one of the first signs of life, other than trees, shrubs and birds is the cocoon of an evergreen bagworm. This is of one that we saw on a cedar trig.

Carolina Wrens are a regular feeder visitor for us. These delightful little birds come for suet and peanuts and then as the winter progresses we start to hear them singing.

This is the result of eating at Panda House.

Recently I was thinking about Don Quixote which I read in 2005, on the anniversary of its publication. I was also thinking about Picasso’s sketches.

I have a Christmas ornament from several years ago of who was at the time called “Baby Yoda.”

Camilla and Oscar love gnomes so I thought that I would draw one.
That’s all for today, more later…
