Some recent “art” part-4

I have found that I am spending more time sitting and drawing, which for me is really nice. My hand is still a bit twitchy which makes writing less than optimal and sometimes affects what I am drawing, but that’s OK as the lack of major seizures is wonderful so putting up with twitches is just fine. Now on to some drawings –

I’ve always had a thing for nudibranchs. In fact in the 1970 when I had a saltwater fish tank I had a Spanish dancer a really fancy nudibranch, which I might try drawing some day.

Not overly happy with the mandril, I think that it might have worked better with color. In the 1970s I almost headed off to Africa to study them – that would have really changed the course of my life. But it never happened.

My Snoopy kick will never end, but I do like this one a bunch.

Two drawings based on birds that we saw recently in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Both lend themselves well to pen and ink sketched.

And finally an amanita for my grandson Oscar who loves fungi. Come on who wouldn’t love a death angel!

That’s this bunch of sketches. There’ll be more in the future.

If there something that you’d like to see let me know and I’ll see what I can do. My goal is to do one or two a day for the rest of the year.

Until next time…
