Recently there has been a lot of news about suspicious drone sightings in the eastern United States. In fact the news seems to have a story two or three times a day. It doesn’t appear to be threatening, but it is interesting.
Then this weekend on NPR there was the story about Birds aren’t Real. Well, now here’s an interesting story. The person who made this claim says that starting in 1961 the U.S. government started killing birds and replacing with drones that are used to spy on citizens. Part of his claim is that JFK was killed because he didn’t agree with killing off all of the birds in North America. Ultimately every bird was killed and replaced by a spy drone. Obviously, since these drones need to charge their batteries which is why you always seen birds in electrical lines – they’re recharging. Indeed we have even seen drone charging stations.
Here’s a charging station station in our neighborhood. Birds of many species, actually drones will disappear into these holes in order to charge their batteries.
Well, the reality of the situation isn’t quite what the story started out with. In fact the who thing was started by a comedian, and it was meant as satire. Unfortunately some people have apparently gone with the drone idea. Oh well, who knows what people will believe.
