Travel day thoughts and humor

Yesterday make 165 years since Darwin published On the Origin of Species. Perhaps nothing has affected my life more than Darwin’s writings. This, along with the Voyage of the Begal, and his theory of evolution have allowed me to evolve into what I am today. Which often makes me look at events through the eyes of an evolutionary biologist.

It’s hard to believe that this was from 2012, some five years before my TED talk on “When children died…” about the age of pandemics and epidemics before the discovery and use of vaccines.

Of course we are now heading into an age of ignorance, similar, but perhaps worse that the last Trump administration. Hopefully, RFK, Jr. will not get Senate confirmation. But I guess well have to wait and see.

Until then I’ll stick with my basic philosophy of life…

More later…
