Art, photography and tee-shirts

This is a tee-shirt that I recently found on-line. Something about it really speaks to me.

More tee-shirts that perfectly describe me. I have carried a camera with me for many years. Back in the early 1970s I had a small Leica, which I sold in the 1980s. I miss that camera, it was small and quiet. Then in 1976 I bought a Nikon F2. That monster was my go to camera until I got my first digital camera. How many thousands of rolls of film went through it I cannot imagine. Somewhere I have contact sheets from all of the black-and-white film I had loaded. I had a dark room at home until 1982. I was hopeful in having another one when I moved in 1984, but it never happened. Oh well, those were the old days. Now I take digital and accept what I have – less art but still fun. Speaking of art –

What? Weather? This is the weather prediction for the Ann Arbor Art Fairs. We’ll probably be going on Friday. But wait – 74-80F and no thunder storms? Well, we’ll see how close to reality this is.

More later…
