At 4:50 PM EDT on June 20 we officially enter summer this year. I am hoping that this will stimulate me to start blogging more. As many of you know it’s been since late May that I have written anything. Writers funk, writers block, whatever is it I have been in a writing lull. And during that time so much has happened. Hopefully, I will have the drive to write about these days, as well as what is happening currently.
Yesterday, somebody born in same city that my mother was born in died. And it made the news.
Donald Sutherland was born in St. John, New Brunswick, Canada in 1935, some ten years after my mother was born there. This man became a rather amazing actor staring in many well-known movies. Some that come to mind quickly are Kelly’s Heroes, M.A.S.H, and of course The Hunger Games. Regardless of the movie type or genre he will be remembered for his acting ability. And so will his son – Kiefer.
Although not nearly as well known as his father Kiefer Sutherland has also become a successful actor. We were rather impressed with him in 24.
