Day-12: A few birds and other things

A four-spot palpita moth, a nice southern moth that we have had several times in Florida.

A monk skipper and a whirlabout, both on bristly thistle.

Great southern whites on Spanish needles.

Up close and personal shot of an American White Pelican.

A Sora with a nice reflections that was scurrying through the mangroves.

A Clapper Rail that was skulking in the mangroves. Shortly after this photo is silently disappeared.

Reddish Egret and Tricolored Heron in high breeding condition.

Nice look at a Northern (Yellow-shafted) Flicker.

Gray Catbird showing off it’s red under-tailed coverts.

One of the abundant Myrtle (Yellow-rumped) Warblers that we are seeing every day. And a nice looking Palm Warbler on the ground.
