A few days ago we went to Sault Ste. Marie in search of winter birds (more on that tomorrow). Our trip was cut short by a serious winter storm. We headed home yesterday beating the 13-18″ of snow that was predicted. Regardless we had fun with our friend Mike seeing some birds and enjoying our dining experiences.
Our first night we ate at Wicked Sister a nice place about half way from our motel and downtown. I highly recommend stopping here if your in the “Soo.”
Breakfast the next day was at Frank’s Place. As with everyplace that we ate they are all places that we’ve visited before.
This drawing on the door to the kitchen is “presumably” Frank. It was done by one of the waitresses.
Finally, breakfast at Penny’s Place. The best part of eating here is that they open at 6AM.
