The warm rainy conditions have continued in Paradise. Most of the snow that had been slowly accumulating has melted. So it’s time to get some stuff down at the cabin.

Susan made a batch of ginger snaps. Since we’ve been here this week she had baked more treats than in a typical month which I think is wonderful. Around noon we headed into town to mail stuff, go to the dump and drop off recycling.

When we got to the Goat Locker & Wheel House we decided to pull in for lunch.

This diner opened in 2021 during the peak of the pandemic when Paradise was in need of a place to eat. None of the other places were opening reliably. We’ve really enjoyed eating here, especially when we have friends visiting.

Obviously, they’re ready for winter.

These three snowmen seemed to be related to the Pillsbury Dough Boy.
