Breakfast and the Brush Monkeys

We took a long cool walk downtown for breakfast at Avalon. It was, as always delightful. After breakfast it was time to look at Brush Monkey window paintings.

Snowmen escaping the cold for a tropical vacation.

The waiter was serving snowballs and pasta, a seasonal speciality.

A moose checking out what’s new.

Sluggo with an owl!

Susan immediately noticed the pink pig, but I saw the blue tractor, which was appropriate since this was at The Blue Tractor.

Pretty easy guessing where this was.

Then it was time to shop.

But besides the People’s Food Co-op painted sign in the front door, there was an array of decorative paintings.

On the way home Susan found a friend that wanted to talk to her. We were amazed at how long it sat there quietly looking Susan over.

And finally – my habañero plant and a cactus (Lophophora williamsii)

More later…
