Traveling to Toronto

Crossing the Ambassador Bridge we could see the progress on the Gordie Howe Bridge. I can’t wait for it to be open and cross there.

This was our AirB&B in Richmond Hills. It was on the fourth floor of a condo. We had our own private elevator (behind the closed door) that gave us access without disturbing the owners who were artists. She is a painter and he is a musician.

Here’s the view from the easy chair at the front of the condo looking to the back. The right hand photo is looking from the back towards the front window.

This place was very comfortable and only a block off of Yonge Street which had a nice variety of places to eat.

This woman watched over the bed.

Our first night we got food at Aneal’s, which was a Caribbean restaurant. The goat and ox-tail dishes were quite nice.

Covernotes is a coffee shop and used book store a few blocks down Yonge from where we were staying.

This was the neighborhood where we stayed for tomorrows visit to McMichael Gallery, which was the reason for visiting.

More on that tomorrow…
