On our walk this morning it became obvious that lawns are dangerous places. On the left is a spider web, with a tunnel when the spider is. I’m sure that a lot of tired little critters end up in the web as breakfast, lunch and dinner. we saw hundreds of this is almost every lawn that we passed.
The Aminita, aka death angel was in a lawn a few blocks from home. There had been three but two were eaten or torn apart. I don’t know about all animals but these are deadly for humans.
Well, the last of the tomato sauce – 4 quarts and three pints, with some in the refrigerator. Our little pantry is as full as it can be. We’ll see how far these go. Susan has already suggested that I make pizza tomorrow, which is a distinct possibility.
Now, well be off to a 50th anniversary party later today (it had been canceled earlier because of a power outage). Maybe a good topic for discussion tomorrow, people that I’ve known for over 50 years.
