Oaxaca, day-7 on the Pacific Ocean

Sunrise as we head out in search of pelagic (ocean-going) birds.

A Brown Booby bouncing up and down on a log.

Sooty Shearwater.

Olive Ridley’s Sea Turtles making the next generation of sea turtles.

Red-billed Tropicbird.

Nazca Booby.

Boobies and shearwaters.

More Nazca Boobies that I was really taken with.

Wedge-tailed Storm-Petrel.

Magnificent Frigatebird.

Back on shore we got to see all of the potential beaches that could be visited.

This was the seaside restaurant that we went to for lunch.

There were a lot of choices. Mahi, Ocean prawns, lobster, red snapper and so much more. We spent the afternoon at our hotel taking siesta and relaxing since we were heading out to find Pacific Screech Owls and Mottled Owls.

Here’s a Mottled Owl – our last bird of the day.

Tomorrow Pluma Hidalgo.
