After lunch on day-2 we headed into the mountains – for a really exciting day!

The trail was along a valley that had cattle and horses.

The Mike’s looking up hill for birds. Well, at. least until a horse came trotting by.

The horse passed us, totally ignoring us and headed down a trail to the pasture below us. At this point we could hear a bull bellowing. But it was in the lower pasture which was clearly fenced in.

Well surprise after a few minutes a bull came up the same path as the horse and was in no time between us and the van. While everybody else seemed interested in seeing the bull, I was interested in looking for an escape route in case the bull decided to change directions. Fortunately he didn’t.

After we were done for the day we stopped to get gas which was 23.35 pesos/liter. This works out to US$5.07/gallon. So I shouldn’t complain about the current price of gas on the west side of Ann Arbor.
More tomorrow…
