This little Pennsylvania ambush bug was on Queen-Anne’s-lace. Apparently it was trying to mimic the dark spot in the middle of the flower head.
Another insect on Queen-Anne’s-lace was this European paper wasp. It was apparently feeding on pollen.
Both insect photos were taken with my phone. I’s pretty amazing what current phones are capable of. Heck, I can even make a phone call when necessary.
