Today we spent a beautiful morning at the Ann Arbor Art Fair which rambles throughout downtown Ann Arbor and the University of Michigan campus.

There was no lack of diversity in art.

I’ll have to admit that I am drawn to realistic animal art.

Hey! It’s a realistic dragon.

A whimsical library.

This photo really got me. I swear that I have been to gas stations similar to this.

An obvious Dali inspired piece.

Gorillas crossing the Delaware, with some creepy alien-like critters in the water. Perhaps inspired by Planet of the Apes.

And then there is the music.

This looked like Jimi Hendrix collided with Prince.

Another interesting artist.

After over three hours of walking and looking at art it was time for lunch. I had spicy teriyaki chicken which was quite nice, along with a bowl of miso soup. Susan had teriyaki tofu and miso soup. The portions were quite large and leftovers will serve as lunch tomorrow.
While I am drawn to drawing and painting, there was a lot of glass art, pottery, jewelry, woodwork and so much more. Tomorrow is the third and last day of Art Fair. If you’re able to get there and enjoy the art, music and food.
More later…
