
Susan started diging up the garlic this morning.

Then I took the first basket and trimmed them getting them ready to dry.

Over 200 heads of garlic threaded into an old baby gate. When I was done threading them in I moved the gate into the garage. Wow, it was heavy. Now onto other news from the garden.


The first tomatoes are forming. These are San Marzano, a type of Roma. And the first of the hot peppers have gone to fruit.
Hurray there will be peppers and tomatoes in our future. I was surprised to see that one of the basil plants already appears to be forming flowers. Those will go in the next few days.
