Another Sonic Lunch, complete with the bubble machine. What an amazing and fun time. We enjoyed the opening act, but went there for the main performers.

For today, because of War and Treaty, the main performers the stage was moved and Liberty Street closed. The place was packed! We managed to find some seats quite far back from the stage.

But I did manage to get rather close to the stage in the standing room area to get a better photo. Somehow, I forgot to bring my camera, so all photos are with my phone.

After the concert was done we went to Taq to me for tacos, then across the street to Kilwin’s for ice cream, which is a real treat.

This is the telephone pole near our bus stop. How many years of staples used for fliers are here – we’ll never know.

So, we almost didn’t go to Sonic Lunch today because of the air alert due to fires in Canada. At the last minute we decided to mask (KN-95s) and give it a go – great decision.

There’s a Canadian website showing the fire risk across Canada. Red is the worst, followed by brown, yellow, green and finally blue. Not looking great for our Canadian neighbors, friends and relatives. While we think that we have it bad, it’s probably worst there.

More tomorrow…
