January dining in Ann Arbor

Yesterday we walked to Juicy Kitchen which is a 15-20 minutes walk from home. This is perhaps only the third time we’ve gone there since the pandemic began. It is a wonderful place to eat. Even though it was barely 30F, we sat outside enjoying our lunch.

This morning we headed downtown to meet out friend Linda for breakfast.

The wall nest to us for breakfast.

I’m not very good at taking a selfie, but managed to get us both in the photo.

Breakfast was at Avalon Café which is a favorite place to go for breakfast.

Someday I will try one of their sticky buns.

After we were done eating Susan and I headed over the Ford Lake where we saw a Black Scoter and Snow Goose. All-in-all a great start to the day.

More tomorrow…
