From the Byrds to Crosby, Still & Nash and then Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young I enjoyed the beautiful voice of this man. His songs still resonate with me some 50 years later.

A painting of Crosby by Joan Baez.

A digitized slide (that I should redo some day) of Crosby, Stills Nash & Young that I took in 1978 in Cleveland. They were the ultimate performers at an arena concert that also featured – Santana, the Band and Jesse Colin Young.

Back to Van Gogh. This painting, The Novel Reader, is at the center of a controversy. An art collector is claiming that this was stolen from him, and should be returned. I took this photo at the recent Van Gogh exhibition at the DIA in Detroit.
